If you go to the Mediterranean resorts there are a considerable number of places you have got to fly across of which any one can disrupt your holiday planning. Even if you choose not to take to the air and travel via vehicle we in the UK have the added dilemma of crossing the English Channel by means of ferry or Channel Tunnel.

If you want a high chance of getting away on your vacation at what ever period of year you plan to go then why not consider a vacation to a Caribbean island? If you live in the UK then when you are airborne and leave UK airspace you will fly across the Atlantic for about eight hours to your destination. The next country you cross will most likely be the island you have booked for your Caribbean holiday or vacation.

Furthermore you should think about an all inclusive holiday because some islands of the Caribbean can be expensive in restaurants for foods and drinks, though not every one. The Caribbean describes above 7000 islands and conjures up imagery of pirates and reggae music. Although the pirates are long disappeared the reggae music is prevalent in diverse varieties across all the islands of the Caribbean.

700 out of the 7000 islands of the Caribbean are inhabited. Most are surrounded with clear azure waters with un-spoilt white sandy beaches. Some of the islands are volcanic and the majority have extraordinary reefs that are ideal for exploring the huge variety of tropical sea life.

If you venture inland to the interior of some of the islands you can discover water falls cascading down beautiful valleys, and every where you will come across the most remarkable and exotic flowers and plants as well as a varied collection of wildlife. Nearly all locals who work in the tourist trade on all of the islands speak English along with their own native tongue. The cultures across the Caribbean are diverse and the ambiance on all islands is relaxing and happy coming from the inhabitants who are hospitable and affable.

These Caribbean islands are the major places you can book vacations with the major tour operators:
